Installing jointly with a traditional AV
ROMAD is designed for detecting new malware strains even if they deleted themselves from a hard drive.
Out of this, ROMAD doesn’t have a hard drive scan module.
ROMAD is simultaneously installed with traditional AVs.

Manual installation
Optionally, a small company has an opportunity to install ROMAD Endpoint Defense manually on each computer separately.
One must determine the installer's bitness before installing,.. Whether you want to install ROMAD for a 64-bit or 32-bit system.
The installation is made in the most automated mode. The user only needs to read and accept the license agreement and specify the way to install ROMAD Endpoint Defense (usually: C: \ Program Files \ ROMAD Endpoint Defense)
The following versions of Windows OS are supported:
- Windows 7 (x32, x64)
- Windows 8.1 (x32, x64)
- Windows 10 (x32, x64)
Windows OS server versions:
- Windows Server 2008 r2 x64
- Windows Server 2012 r2 x64
- Windows Server 2016 x64
Note! Once installed on your computer, ROMAD Endpoint Defense addresses the licensing server and the update server to download relevant Malware Genome ™ databases. ROMAD Endpoint Defense cannot operate without the Internet connection.
Automode installation
We have developed a special application, ROMAD Deployer, in order to facilitate and speed up the Romad Endpoint Defense installation in large companies. With its help, the system administrator in minutes can install Romad Endpoint Defense on computers through a local network.
ROMAD Deployer works great on various networks - with Active Directory, without AD and on hybrid networks.
To work with ROMAD Deployer, you must specify the ways for the Romad Endpoint Defense installation files and give the command to deploy them on computers in the local network.
